Pastor’s Prayer Retreat – October 23-24, 2017

What did Jesus do OFTEN? We know he taught in the synagogue regularly. He seemed to go to dinners a lot. He conversed and dealt with a lot of people, some he liked and some he didn’t so much. Sounds like a pretty typical pastor’s life. But do you know what the scripture actually says that Jesus did OFTEN? Despite the demands of the people around him, and the very important and urgent work he came to do, scripture says, “But Jesus OFTEN withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5:16). At this year’s Prayer Retreat, we will explore one of Jesus’ prayers from John 17. Come join the Commission on Discipleship on October 23-24, 2017 for a relaxing time away to pray To learn more about how you can be a part of this retreat by click here to download the brochure.

2018 Pastoral Contract and Guidelines

Let it be remembered that at all times we are Brothers in Christ, working for the same goals, the same purposes, and the same God. Let us have a special desire to work, "not for," but "with" and "together." As the Apostle Paul said in I Thessalonians 2:8, "We came not only to share the Gospel with you, but ourselves, because you became very dear to us."

Please find here the PDF’s for the 2018 Contract for your church, and the 2018 Pastoral Compensation Guidelines as well.
