Fall Theological Study Day – 9/30/14 –
"The Image of God: Theological & Ethics in the Bible" with Dr. Ben Witherington, III

Please mark your calendar for September 30th as Bible scholar Dr. Ben Witherington, III will be presenting "The Image of God: Theology and Ethics in the Bible". Dr. Witherington is Amos Professor of New Testament for Doctoral Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary and on the doctoral faculty at St. Andrews University in Scotland. He is now considered one of the top evangelical scholars in the world and is an elected member of the prestigious SNTS, a society dedicated to New Testament studies.

I was privileged to hear Dr. Witherington’s presentation on “The Image of God” in April. His sessions on the archeological evidence and on the biblical evidence for “The Image of God” were outstanding. Dr. Witherington is a brilliant biblical scholar and you will be blessed by his presentation.

CGWM Fall Retreat – October 17-18, 2014

This year's theme is Stretching Out... What's Your Story? Each of us has a story. One that is unique, specially written into the very fiber of your being by the God of the universe. Together we share in the journey of becoming more like Him and helping others to know Him.

You're invited Friday, October 17 & Saturday, October 18 to take 21 hours to reflect, relax and refill. Prepare to join in [His] story, reaching out from right where you live.

This year, Robyn Dykstra will be sharing her amazing story. Combined with quiet time, times of laughter, and times of prayer you're sure to enjoy. And did we mention that fabulous food? Join us as we celebrate and stretch in the Word!

Our retreat will once again take place at beautiful Doubling Gap Center in Newville, Pennsylvania. Please click here to download the flyer and registration form.
